Kashmir and Trans Himalaya Jeep Safari

Day 01: Srinagar - Gulmarg :
Arrival at Srinagar airport and drive to gulmarg 46 km 2 hrs from airport and evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stary at Houseboat.
Leh City: The capital of Ladakh, at one time was a major stop on the Asian "Silk Route". A stroll along the main bazar, observing the varied crowd and peering into the curio shops, is an entrancing experience. Chang Gali, behind the main bazar is less bustling but has intriguing little shops selling curios and jewelry like pearls, turquoise, coral, malachite, lapis and many other kinds of semi-precious stones, as well as curiously carved Yak - horn boxes, quaint brass locks, china or metal bowls etc.

Day 02: Srinagar - Sonamarag :
After breakfast we will drive to Sonamarag spend full day with pack lunch from houseboat and drive back to Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.

Day 03: Srinagar - Kargil :
Which 220 Km drive one of most beautiful landscape journey and you have cross one of pass Zoji-la which close for almost 6 month due to snow. Overnight in Kargil.

Day 04: Kargil - Leh :
Drive after breakfast enroute to many village along with Indus river belt and reach at lamayuru where we can take rest for while for lunch and after we will continues to drive to Leh. Overnight hotel in Leh.

Day 05: Phey - Nimo :
Go for rafting from Hotel 9:00 AM. By jeep to Phey village and from their we will start rafting till Indus and Zanskar river cross section near Nimo and take your pack lunch and drive back to Hotel.

Day 06: Leh - Pangong Tso - Leh :
The Pangong Lake is 160 km from Leh with spectacular view colorful mountains and Changla pass. The scenic view of colourful mountains throughout the journey makes your trip memorable. The drive begins with photogenic view of Thiksey monastery and village, famous for its architectural similarities with Potala palace of Lhasa. Beyond this village, you will drive towards Changla pass with a long and easy ascent through it's winding roads through the village of Shakti. We will cross many small villages before we reach Pangong Lake. The lake is dramatic, surrounded by colorful mountains and its reflection makes the lake beautiful. The color of the lake changes into different colors throughout the day. After spending time in this special wonder, we will return back to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07: Leh - Nubra :
After breakfast drive from Leh to the Nubra valley (130 km, 6 hrs) over the Khardong La (5602 M). Enjoy a hot cup of chai (tea) near the 'highest temple in the world'. Drive to Sumur via Kardung village and Khalsar. Overnight in a luxury Camp in Sumur.. Khardung La, the road journey to Nubra valley leads through the Khardung La pass, the second highest motorable road in the world (5602 M). The pass is almost permanently covered in fog and snow. Here you have world's 'highest temple' and an army check post, which also serves hot tea. En route there are many vantage viewpoints. Sumur is a quaint village along the Nubra river. The Samtanling Gompa here is 150 years old and houses 7 temples.

Day 08: Nubra :
Full day sightseeing of Diskit and Hunder. Over night in a luxury Camp in Sumur.l. Diskit is the Capital of Nubra. It has a 500 years old Monastery on a hilltop offering spectacular views of the valley. Diskit has a regular Bazaar consisting of a row of Shops. From Diskit, the tour circuit proceeds down the Shayok to Hundar.
Hundar, here there is a small population of Bactrian camels, Shaggy double humped animals, which in the old days were used as pack animals on the central Asian trade route. During the 50 years, they have been bred for transport purposes in the Nubra; today visitors can make a Camel Safari out in to the dunes from Hundar.

Day 09: Nubra - Leh :
Early morning after breakfast drive to Panamik. From Panamik drive back to Leh. Overnight in a hotel. Panamik, the last village on this Circuit, was a busy centre for ancient silk route caravans, the last major settlement before the caravans plunged in to the mountains of Karakoram & the Ka-lu. Panamik is also famous for its hot springs.

Day 10: Leh - Sarchu (3500 M, 233 km) :
We will be encountering breath-taking scenery on our way to Sarchu. En route we will be crossing two high - passes, Tanglang La (5360 M) & Lachlung La (5065 M) - the third highest pass in the world. Late in the evening we enter the Indus valley and arrive at Leh, capital of Ladakh. Arrive and check into Delux tent for overnight stay.

Day 11: Sarchu - Jaspa - Manali :
Early morning we drive to Manali (4253 M, 245 km) : Today we drive to Manali via Jaspa (3142 M) and Rohtang pass (3980 M). Jispa is a small hamlet by the Baralacha La (4892 M). It's a double pass linking both the upper Chandra and Bhaga valleys with the Lingti valley and the vast Lingti plains around Sarchu. Sarchu is inhabited by Himalayan Clan Gaddi and few lonely soldiers at an army outpost. (3348 M, 147 km) the river Bhag. At arrival Manali transfer to Hotel. Overnight.

Day 12: Manali :
Free day and own activities and drive to Delhi by bus.
